The Aggies continued to build their already impressive 2018 recruiting class with the addition of 4-star linebacker DaShaun White.
White, from North Richland Hills, Texas, is the No. 22 outside linebacker in the class and is listed at 6-foot-1 and 222 pounds. He picked the Aggies over offers from Oklahoma, UCLA and Arkansas. In his junior season, he racked up 114 tackles and 18 tackles for loss.

He now becomes the second linebacker in the Aggies’ class, joining 3-star LB Brian Johnson. Texas A&M now has 16 commits in its 2018 class. The Aggies have the No. 11 class in the country with White’s addition, good for fourth in the SEC behind Tennessee, LSU and Florida.
Kevin Sumlin gave a signature “YESSIR” after White’s commitment.
