Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium will be getting a major face lift come 2019.
On Friday, the Missouri Board of Curators approved construction of a $ 98 million facility in the South End Zone of Faurot Field. The project will provide new training facilites for the football team as well as install new premium seating.
“This project would not be possible without the generosity of our donors, and we are very grateful for their support of Mizzou,” MU Chancellor Alexander Cartwright said. “As an SEC institution, this project will allow us to remain competitive in the top athletic conference in the country.
The school tweeted out a rendering of the images and the completed project will look like.

The project is set to be complete in August of 2019.
Missouri is making a bold statement with today’s announcement and I am confident that it not only will pay big dividends in recruiting, but it will help improve our game-day atmosphere throughout the stadium,” Missouri coach Barry Odom said in a release.
