On the heels of LSU’s athletic director saying it’s unlikely that BYU and LSU play in Houston on Saturday, BYU released its statement on the game.
The school stressed that its thoughts were on those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The school said it is in discussions with all parties involved and will provide information as it becomes available.

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans has emerged as a possible destination for the game. BYU cannot play the game on Sunday, due to its affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. ESPN will have final say on the game. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, and the game is set to air on ESPN.
