In a weekend in which there were no ranked games, there where plenty of upsets. And one of the biggest ones came in the final game of the night, when No. 5 Washington lost to Arizona State on the road, 13-7.
The Huskies struggled on offense for most of the night and didn’t score a touchdown until the fourth quarter. The Sun Devils came in with a 2-3 record, while the Huskies were undefeated.
Washington became the fourth top-10 team to lose this weekend, as it joined No. 2 Clemson, No. 8 Washington State, which both lost on Friday, and No. 10 Auburn, which blew a 20-point lead to LSU.
With the Huskies loss there are no unbeaten teams left in the Pac-12. Among the Power 5 teams, only Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, Wisconsin, Miami and TCU are the only remaining unbeaten teams. USF and UCF are also unbeaten from the AAC.
Alabama, Georgia and TCU all won big on Saturday. Wisconsin and Miami squeaked out home wins and Penn State had the weekend off. In each of the last two years, there was only 1 unbeaten team in the College Football Playoff and that team lost in the championship game.
